This was the second CRKT knife I bought. I love it. It has become part of my EDC in my gear bag.
This is my most used EDC, largely because i don't mind scratching or abusing it. The steel is good enough, but dulls easier than a premium steel. I've used it as a pry bar and screw driver with no problems (fight me). Also, easy enough to operate one handed with practice. A solid beater, but missing better blade steel
Bought mine directly from CRKT. Best things about it are the look, feel, light weight (for it's size), and the extra handle length. CRKT appears to make knives that are somewhat budget friendly and I guess this qualifies based on its size and build quality. What don't I care for? Obviously, you don't want to carry this as and EDC. It's too scary looking. I'd rule that out unless you work in a shipping warehouse with other guys that regularly carry bigger knives. The flipper really doesn't reliably open the knife in one smooth action unless you want to apply some serious wrist action as you hit it. And I have to say that the safety release that you have to pull to unlock the knife is rather tedious. I always end up using two hands to make that happen and maybe that's the point. Either way, I don't care for it. The knife is impressive looking and it seems like it's built to last, but I do feel that I could find something easier to open and close for much the same price.
