The Mikov Predator spring knife is a covet-worthy automatic knife that is made in the Czech Republic and features an elegant build. This model has real stag horn scales and a dagger-style stainless steel blade (one side is sharp and the other is a false edge). The Mikov series is well-regarded for their "ready to work" no nonsense design. Rivet construction. The knife is opened using the small lever near the top of the knife. The lever rests flush in the handle when not in use and acts as a safety when folded down.
This is an excellent knife. Wow! i'm very impressed with the build quality and materials. The stag is beautiful and the blade is sharp, fires hard and locks up solid. No blade play at all! 100% solid lockup. AND it's made in Europe. Wow. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY MIKOV
Very satisfied. The knife is extremely well made and eye catching. Not to mention It's a lever lock auto! It's perfect! it just became my new every day carry and on into hunting season! Very very pleased by this knife and Blade HQ! High quality blade, Excellent customer service and fast shipping. I definitely recommend this blade if you are into atuo's and lever locks. Extremely smooth action and fast deployment. Top notch!
Everything you would want in a Lever Lock Auto Knife! Very handsome stag scales! Built to last a lifetime! You can't go wrong with this knife!
A friend of mine showed me this knife that he had and was bragging about it and it was a Mikov I had never seen one now I have 4 ....GREAT KNIFE
I am exceptionally impressed with this knife. I have quite a few knives in the collection but as far as lever lock style mechanisms, this knife exceeds expectations. The stag finish is excellent, and I'm glad I opted for it. It adds a nice grip and is well done. The bolts on the handle are firm and flush. The action is incredibly satisfying. The blade fires fast and locks with a clean click. I have fired it a few hundred times and it has not malfunctioned at any time. The lever action is easy enough to unlock quickly one-handed, but is secure enough for me to be confident that it won't deploy in my pocket. The blade is clean and comes sharp enough, I sharpened it to my liking and don't expect most knives to come razor sharp out of the box. Finally, this thing just feels rock solid. No blade play and it's a nice weight. It just feels like it can handle some abuse if you plan on using it in tough conditions. All of this considered, I'm surprised they aren't retailing this for more. Mikov has a reputation for solid value for the money, and I firmly agree. If you're on the fence I encourage you to add this knife to your collection.
I was proud to ad this knife to my collection. Its well made high quality and sturdy .the blade has a mirror finesh with no play . this is a really nice knife for the money.
I've never had a knife like this before, but the way it is designed and made, and considering the cost, this is a real value!! It is fairly sharp out of the box, and it's construction appears flawless: no runs, excellent margins, high-grade polishing, no machine marks anywhere. Again, for this price, I consider these tools a great value. I will "covet" this knife and pass it down to my Son with honor, and I will carry it regularly with the same sense of honor. I consider this knife a great defensive tool, and I will carry it for that reason, but will take any opportunity to "show it off" in the proper venue. As an aside: I haven't been a regular customer of Blade HQ that long, but I have received nothing but the best and most rapid service on my orders. I also consider BladeHQ to have very fair pricing on their very large variety of stock: as such, they have won me over as a regular customer now!!
This knife has a great look: horn scales, sleek blade, and very snappy action. The lever apparatus is a bit clunky compared to an assisted-flipper or automatic, but this is a knife to carry for the fun of it. Blade comes sharp enough and will be easy to sharpen given the blade geometry, My only reservation is that I've had Euro-made autos before and the springs haven't held up. Perhaps this one will.
