SOG Twitch II Wood Assisted Opening Gentleman's Knife (2.68" Satin) TWI-17

The SOG Twitch II is a sleek spring assisted knife that utilizes the SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.). This mechanism is activated using the built in kick/flipper or dual thumb studs. The pass-through lockbar securely locks the blade open. A safety slide on the spine either locks the blade closed or can double lock the blade open.

This Twitch II has a wood handle with a tip-up carry pocket clip. The AUS 8 stainless steel blade has a plain edge and a satin finish. This is an excellent everyday carry knife, best of all it won't break the bank.

I bought this as a light weight knife to carry when in dress pants or other light weight clothing. I dont carry this for work, play, or defense. I have it to open a package, cut a steak at dinner, remove a tag off a new shirt, etc. I usually have something else on me for when i need to remove a dog in a fight, cut some leather out of my way, or fend off someone trying to seperate me from my money. Its perfect for the uses i have it for. The lock hasnt given me any issues, nor has the assisted opening. It works and looks as it did when new. My only complaint is that i dont have 2.... yet. Great Little Knife!

I bought this knife immediately after see a co-workers. I knew of the twitch 2, but had never seen the wooden scales version. The assisted opening flipper is super snappy and I love that it has a lock as the flipper protrudes quite a bit. I have has an issue with the lock becoming very loose and comes unlocked quite easy. I may have got a defective one however, as my co worker has used his much more than I and his is still quite tight.
