The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 is a second-generation knife that has undergone some stellar improvements thanks to the C.Q.I.-Constant Quality Improvement process employed by Spyderco. The Dragonfly2 maintains the same blade and handle geometry with leveraging points that make the Dragonfly cut and feel like a much larger knife.

The Dragonfly 2 features a premium VG-10 blade with a full flat grind and now has jimping at the choil and the spine for better control and feel. The handle on the second generation Dragonfly uses Spyderco's patented Bi-Directional Texturing on the fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) and has a reversible tip-up wire clip for superb carry characteristics. The Back Lock steel frame ensures a tight lock with solid performance.

Like the Size!

I bought this for a small, quality EDC for those times when I wanted a good knife, but couldn't carry a large blade because of restrictions, or type of clothing. This looked great because it was small, but the tall blade profile allows it to be used like a larger knife. It is super attractive, well made, and near weightless. I really like the wire pocket clip. Objectively, -1 star because the handle feels a bit cheap, but then again, its a Spyderco, and my Endura with the same handle has lasted for over 20 years of hard use. But genuinely happy with the purchase.
5 years on, still in the rotation.

So light and yet capable. Fits great even in larger hands. Just great for EDC tasks.
Most Practical EDC

I feel this and the Delica share the title for best EDC knife. The blade length is very functional with the jimping, and allows for a small tool to actually feel practical in the hand.

I will admit, the ergos don't make this one feel as perfect as the Delica, it certainly won't leave you disappointed. While the black on this model look awesome, I prefer the Zome green for the "Dragonfly" look.

What sets this apart from almost any other knife you can find, is the functionality for the size, ability to disappear in the pocket, and ability to close one hand - despite the back-lock. You are getting a good steel, from a great company, easy middle finger flick, and a deep carry wire clip for a phenomenal price!
My first Spyderco

Went with this one over the delica based on blade shape. This is just a beautiful knife.
Only negative so far is the handle shape is a bit slim in hand. Fingers curl around the handle, but it definitely does not fill the hand (compared to Rat2). Still like this very much and will be keeping it, but will be buying the delica as well.
Love this knife

I love this knife so much. This knife is small but packs a big punch I threw a lanyard on it just to give it a little something extra to hold on to. I love the finger choil. This is one of my most carried knives in my collection next to my Delica 4.
Great knife,

Love this knife, will use as an primary/backup EDC for years to come.
Small knife, massive package

Many people scoff at a small knife, leaving them for small tasks like opening letters or scraping dirt from under their fingernails. This knife does what you put the blade against, and asks for seconds. The finger choil and thumb ramp suck the knife to your hand like glue, and coupled with the bi-directional design on the scales, you would be doing something wrong if you lose your grip. The VG-10 steel holds an edge that would cut your eyeballs if you look for too long, and is easily maintained without sacrificing edge retention. Edge is easily polished to a mirror edge. Pocket clip is good for a knife this size. This knife is in my pocket or on my person every day, taking the tasks that the larger knife is not needed for.

Overall- Great knife in a compact package, buy one. Hell, buy 5 of em, you won't regret it.
