The Spyderco Police Model has a partially serrated hollow-ground VG-10 blade that is thick at the tip for added strength with a weight-reducing swedge along the spine. The stainless steel handle is perfect for engraving or embossing. David Boye dent cut out of the locking lever allows you to gorilla grip the knife without accidentally releasing the lock. Steel clip positions the knife for tip-down pocket carry.

Time and again law enforcement officers have opted for the Police Model since its debut in 1984. Spyderco packs as much blade length as possible into the handle for big cutting power in a slim profile.

My grail knife for the longest time.
James P.
When I was younger in Boy Scouts, I always loved the Spyderco knives and wanted one of the biggest and best, so after saving up, my father ordered me a Police Serrated. I loved it. It was a large and imposing knife, perhaps a little too big to carry all the time, but i took that knife camping for years.
Sharpest knife ever!

I bought this knife about a month ago and it is one of my edc's. It says that the knife I believe is 9 inches overall but when you close it, it just doesn't seem like it would be that long of a knife, if that makes sense. I'll give this knife a 4 star and the only reason is because the stainless can get scratched easily and that's it. Other than that it is definitely a 5 star knife. Oh yea and not to mention my brother has a few real high dollar knives and probably 30 or so total and he said it's the sharpest knife he has ever seen.
