The UZI Tactical Defender Pen 6 features a hidden handcuff key that is accessed by removing the breaker cap. This pen has a black finished aluminum body with glass breaker tip and a pocket clip for carry. Retractable pen tip; twist to open and close. Writes well and has an available replacement pen ink cartridge.
I think I like everything about this pen what a great deal and just handy to have it writes well it isn’t to heavy but it isn’t little I give it 9 out of ten
I have carried this pen for years and purchased another 12 for my family and company executives. Everyone loves it. Writes well, looks serious, but goes through TSA with only comments asking where they can get one.
I like this pen, and it does what is intended. The only problem I had was the threads on the belt-clip holder were stripped and the end slid off within about 2 hours of me having it. I was able to fix that up with a little thread-locking tape and it otherwise works fine. The handcuff key is nice to have at work, or in case I get kidnapped or something. Overall, I'd probably do it again.
This pen does not use the Fisher refill, but uses the Parker refill with the plastic cap on the end. You can buy refills that come with a removable cap allowing use in both type of pens. I got mine a couple of days ago, I like it.
Its an okay pen i believe its a bit over priced. Neither the fisher space pen or rite n rain refills fit this pen seems like parker only. The glass breaker works but is super sharp and it stabs me sometime when i sit down. Its also a bit large for the hand and theres no good grip at the bottom of the pen. Also the screw out pen feature kind of sucks dont believe its worth 18 dollars. But i feel confident in it getting the job done and at the end of the day thats what counts.
I find that tolerances on this pen could be tighter. The threads that are used to extend and retract the pen have a slight give when not completely tightened. It makes me feel as if it may strip out if you strike something while in retracted position. The other issue is that I find the pen will come complete until screwed sometimes in my pocket. Also Fisher Space pen refills do not fit properly in this pen. The circumference is too great to completely deploy. It will however deploy enough to write but not comfortably in my opinion. Overall construction is good however.
This pen will unscrew it self in your pocket. The insert isn't very good to wright with.
