Description

Description

The Potbelly™ -- the workhorse Adventure™ blade -- borrows its strength from legendary big blades like the kukri and the machete for amazing chopping power. This is a perfectly tuned knife, with weight-forward balance for heavy cutting and a multi-position handle that allows for delicate work. The handle is textured with the proprietary Adventuregrip™ so you're always in control, even when things get messy. The blade is precision crafted from 0.25" 1095 crp-van steel, hollow ground to a razor's edge and powder coated for corrosion resistance.

The Potbelly™ sheath includes a uniquely-designed stuff sack for necessities like matches, fishing tackle, a compass of other survival items. With the included 8 feet of Adventurecord™, this knife can even the lashed to a stick and used as a spear if the situation demands. If you have only one knife in your pack, choose the Potbelly™.

Comes standard with the Piggyback™ knife -- the smallest Adventure blade -- cuts like a knife twice it's size. It takes no more room than a medium-sized folding knife, and its deep belly shape and short clip point are designed for "unzipping" game. Grip points and the spine allow for even the most delicate work and the knife's simple design makes cleanup a snap. The Piggyback is 6" overall with a 2.675" blade and weighs just over an ounce.

I am an avid camper and spend everyday in the woods. This a heavy tough knife. I took off my powder coating since after serious use was coming off by itself and it stays rust and stain free with a little maintenance. It chops really well but leaves a little to be desired in other tasks. I personally don't like the sheath it's too bulky the knife could easily have a smaller more comfortable sheath. I personally had a leather one made. But overall it's a great knife that I have had for years and has never failed me it's thick strong has has proper balance for a chopper. As for the secondary knife that comes with it I hate everything about it and never carry it since I always have a folder for a smaller knife anyway. It is uncomfortable to use and doesn't hold an edge. Also not that it means much but the smaller knife came dull as hell.
