Description

Description

Another Blade HQ exclusive!

The "Spicoli" joins the ranks of 'minimalist' folders from Quartermaster Knives. It's an absolutely stellar knife that is refined, simple in construction, and super pocket-friendly. It has a tumbled titanium handle with frame lock and a recessed, reversible pocket clip. The open-built handle has the QTRM5TR chainring pivot assembly with the ORB Pivot System for remarkably smooth, yet solid action. An interchangeable steel lock-bar insert provides a firm locking surface and also doubles as an over-travel stop. Another design element worthy of consideration is the thumb groove at the top of the handle, which adds yet more tactility to an already comfortable setup. The CPM-154 steel blade is black stonewash finished, hollow ground, and continues the clean look of the handle with a flipper.

This special edition of the Spicoli features the Blade HQ shield on the inside of the handle. Be sure to see the pictures above for reference.

Extreme hot spots on handle and poor build quality. Clip would move even when tightened down. My knife came perfectly centered. That lasted less than 4 hours of light use. I was able to tighten the pivot with my fingers. Come on quartermaster. Fortunately I'm handy with tools and have since "customized" my knife to what it should have been from the factory. Not worth $200.
