Sal Glesser Knives

Sal Glesser, founder of Spyderco Knives, created the Portable Hand, a series of angles, ball joints and alligator clips that helped jewelers and hobbyists work with small parts, in 1976. The Portable Hand was the start of Spyderco Knives. With his wife, Gail, they built the company from the ground up. Sal still designs knives for Spyderco.
