The Bug knife from Spyderco! The miniest of all mini knives. Barely longer than your pinky, the Bug fits the bill for those small jobs. Thumb hole opener and slip-joint for ease of use. This is the ultimate key chain knife.
Crazy sharp, convenient, and good to have. Spyderco quality in a tiny package.
This is a great knife for it’s money!! I got it from amazon not expecting much. But dang! Wonderful little knife, I gutted, skinned and processed a deer with this little knife and throughout the whole process I never sharpened it. Yes I’m not kidding skinned gutted and sliced up an entire deer with this tiny knife definitely buy it!
For such a small form factor, this thing is high quality. Sharp too!
Perfect for a keyring and to always have a sharp edge when needed.
Thought I should get my wife a “gag gift” to poke fun at my recent knife addiction. She thought it was cute, I put it on her key ring and didn’t expect much more from it. Next thing I know she is slicing through boxes and that tough plastic packaging like it’s butter with the thing. Couldn’t believe how much cutting such a small and cheap knife can do.
The perfect box opening knife.
Backup to my EDC on a keychain. Works great for small tasks.
This knife pretty much never leaves my pocket and I never notice it's there until I take my keychain out. It is literally impossible to scare anyone with this knife and it almost goes entirely unnoticed. As such, it has snuck into many places where knives are not allowed. Mine has gotten into sporting events, the fair, Disneyland, concerts, and even passed through TSA. Not that I'm endorsing that, but something to think about. Honestly, it cuts just fine and has stayed pretty intact even though it has banged around in my pocket with keys and change for years. Kinda hard to hold if it isn't on a keychain, but you can use your keys to add grip when you use it. I thought this knife would be a total novelty because of the size, but it's fully functional. Good for anyone who needs an inconspicuous knife to always have on hand.
Bought two of these one for my son and I. Awesome little keychain knives that actually work if you need them. Small enough to keep on your keys in your pocket without being bulky. Highly recommend it
My Brother bought a gang load of these and gave them out to all who wanted. And , had all the people in the wedding parties name engraved on the ones they received... Very cool idea... Very cool knife and since then I’ve bought more Spyderco to add to my collection... What better way to introduce people to a great company..???
I honestly bought this just to add to my collection due to sheer ridiculousness in size but have since fallin in love with it and use it and sharpen it often lol the looks ya get when pulling this bad boy out hahaha but I daily carry 2 to 3 knives minimum so this one is more of an accessory yet I find myself reaching for and using it whenever I can..
Holy cow, I knew it was small but this thing is tiny, not that there's anything wrong with that. I bought this to add to my key chain, and this is perfect. Very solid and very well built.
I use this as a string attached neck knife very nice great for smaller tasks and handy if you forgot any other knife you normally carry.
This makes a great secondary knife for a keychain or just for a small knife in your watch pocket etc. It might not be the best knife but is there when you need it
This knife is perfect for carrying as a secondary/tertiary blade! great for opening boxes, letters, and packages.
This little guy stays on my key ring. The ultimate keychain knife!
Too cute not to have! Favorite little neck knife, it's always on me and that's a really beautiful thing. Even if you are up early writing reviews naked on your phone while your wife sleeps. Nicely built, no play. No problems.
At first, I thought of this little knife (and I do mean little; it's shorter and slimmer than my index finger even when open) as a novelty. Little did I know! It's a pretty snappy slip-joint, so you won't have to worry about the blade coming loose. It also comes with a very, very sharp factory edge, much sharper than I expected from a knife with a 3Cr13MoV blade (which is about equivalent to 420 steel). The grind is perfect, the centering is perfect, and when run head to head with an XActo blade to cut model parts from a sprue, it beats the XActo hands-down. Fit and finish are great for $13 knife, and while I admit to light use, mine is showing very little if any wear. Surprisingly, the ergonomics aren't too bad, although with large hands, I do have to choke up all the way and hold it with three fingers while coming up with creative placement for my ring finger and pinkie finger. It works, but it's really only a "one-grip" knife for me, which is fine, given that I'm mostly cutting very tiny things with it. Again, I have fairly big hands, so your mileage may vary here, but I generally like at least a little leeway in gripping a knife as opposed to just the same grip over and over, including the amount of choking up you're doing. However, if you have smaller hands than I do or even smaller fingers, you should probably find this a fun little keychain knife, a workable and surprisingly useful backup knife, or something perfect for arts and crafts (or, if you're like me, model airplanes).
Super cool little keychain I put it right next to my continue mission keychain.
Extremely tiny, but super sharp!
I have had this knife on my keys for about 8 years still super sharp and very handy when you need a knife
Very small knife that makes a cool key chain for your keys. Does come out of the box sharp so it is able to be used for minor utility purposes but I would say this knife is mostly for looks.
But it's a great conversation starter. The SS Bug, the SS GrassHopper, and the SS HoneyBee make a great trio. Get all 3.
Pros: It came very sharp, the detent is very tight & has good build quality. Also came in an adorable little box. Cons: The satin finish on the handle scales was a little wavy. Overall a fantastic choice of keychain knife and I am thoroughly impressed. (Note: I got mine from Amazon because I could get free shipping with Prime, sorry Bladehq I'm a cheap sucker :D.)
Great for key chain EDC even though it is made in China.
Although I didn't buy it on bhq I do own this knife and absolutely love it! It's an awesome knife for its price and definitely something to consider if you're looking for a little knife to carry!
This knife is built really well. Blade came super sharp and ready to perform. Action is nice and smooth and won't come out accident. I carry it around my neck along with a cylinder lighter. Great knife if you always want to have a blade on you and not know its there. Legal almost everywhere. Also, checkout the kershaw cinder for a more hand filling ergonomic option. Highly recommend it!
Bought this to keep in my keychain just in case I couldn't bring one of my standard pocket folders along. Does the job of being a keychain knife well. Tiny. Lightweight. Sharp. Doesn't open too easily. Check, check, check, and check.
This knife is tiny, but it was just what I was looking for. It is barely larger than a quarter but still is a knife with a good edge. Plus there is a hole in the scales for a chain or rope to hang it from. Very cool
