The Kershaw Leek is one of the sleekest and most popular assisted opening knives ever produced. It features Kershaw's patented SpeedSafe technology. Give the ambidextrous thumb-stud a push and the knife takes over opening the blade the rest of the way. This is an ideal one-handed opener with a reversible pocket clip and a tip safety lock so the blade won't fire by accident.

I love this knife. Its affordable and really disappears in the pocket due to its slim profile. Blade shape is very functional and the action is nice a snappy. Not a fan of the safety, but it can be easily removed.
I have nearly a dozen Spiderco’s and nearly as many Kershaws including Leeks that are in my daily EDC rotation or are in each car and truck I drive. I’m never without one on my hip or in ny console tray or in my back packs. I’m a wheelchair user and even have a Kalashnikov blade in a sheath zip tied to my wheelchair frame for instant access. Friends always know who to ask when they need to open a box or cut a line. Makes me feel confident and secure when I can’t carry concealed that I still have protection. Love my Spiderco’s!!!
This knife has a good size. This knife is easy to deploy. This knife is lightweight, and on top of all that I think it's one sweet ass looking blade. If you're reading this review before buying then you're doing it wrong.
Takes a superb edge. The action is incredibly smooth. Bought it for a low profile carry, too small for my liking to EDC but it's a great smaller knife.
Zero blade play in any direction out of the box when locked open. Very smooth and fast opening action. Blade centering when closed is very good. It took a few minutes on a sharpmaker to get a great edge, but it was OK out of the box. Seems like a pretty good value to me, as a simple EDC blade for my typical uses of opening mail, cutting cardboard boxes, etc.
Sweet flipper with assist opening, but can still close one handed. Pocket clip is uninspiring at best. Particularly in tip up position where the lock and hole make the knife ride high.
This knife is sleek and maybe even sexy. I’m guessing that’s where it got it’s name. The fit and finish is top notch, smooth graceful lines, it’s really a beautiful knife. I’d put it more in the tactical role than EDC however due to it’s blade shape, a wharncliffe style. I find it to be a bit less than functional on everyday tasks. The tip appears it would be very easy to damage. Plus, the aluminum scales are very smooth and could get slick under certain conditions. The flipper and spring assist make the knife come to life in a hurry. Tip up or down carry is possible, a nice touch for those of us with a strong preference (tip down for me). I’m giving it 4 stars because we all know you can’t get by in life on looks alone. Give me a full tactical version (probably one out there) blacked out with sticky G10 scales and an extra 1 inch in length and I’d come up to 5. It’s in my EDC rotation, I just hate to get it dirty and carry it infrequently.
This a good knife, the action is good, the HUGE issue I had with this, is the pocket clip, it just stickes out too much, it just can't be carried by me, its much better without a pocket clip as a secondary.
