Description

Description

The Onion Leek is one of the sleekest assisted opening knives around. Features stylish orange anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles. The bead blast finished Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade comes razor sharp with a plain edge. The Leek features Kershaw's patented SpeedSafe technology. Give the ambidextrous thumb stud a push and the knife takes over opening the blade the rest of the way. The ideal one handed opener. Other features include a linerlock, reversible stainless pocket clip, and a tip safety lock so the blade won't fire by accident.

This knife has one of the most useful bladeshapes I have seen, and when itís sharp, it is a joy to use. The problem is that it doesnít hold an edge very well at all. Maybe I got one with a bad heat treat, but it seems like the edge wears down within just a few days of light use.

I had a great name, a great design, a great action, and a great color, but I canít give it more than 3 stars because It just doesnít cut nearly as well as other knives I have in this price range. If they release a sprint run with a better steel I would definitely recommend getting it!
Great knife

I have several knifes that cost 10x more than this Kershaw, but I hate how beat up looking they get when used as a daily carry. When I try and use a less expensive knife it feels cheap and I end up switching back.... until now. This is a great little knife as good a value as any knife on this site.
