We enjoyed the 2011 Blade Show and came back with some exquisite new Rainy Vallotton knives. His work is simply breathtaking and all of his creations have a richness and depth we don't come across very often.
This custom DnD knife is hand-made by Rainy Vallotton. The handles feature translucent Tortoise Shell scales with a gold leaf lining. The tortoise shell is from an 80 year old antique purse and if you look closely at the the back side of the handle scale (right in the center of the picture #2), you will see four small holes where the stitching once was. Pretty cool!
The DnD knife has a Chad Nichols "Fireball" Damascus blade, bolsters and firing button. Liners on this knife are anodized titanium and the backspacer is polished 440C stainless steel; both are filed. This knife comes in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
