Description:
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov completed development of a rifle designed to arm millions of Soviet soldiers. It is now known as the AK-47 and remains in active use to this day, being the most manufactured rifle in history. It is so loved because it gets the job done, is very economical, and keeps ticking, no matter what you throw at it. The Boker Kalashnikov knife is inspired by the iconic weapon, with a simple design, no frills, and maximum functionality. The Kalashnikov is made of high-performance, high-value materials. It has a strong lock, dependable action, and a handle that just wants to go to work. The Kalashnikov truly is a knife that makes its namesake proud!
Boker Kalashnikov Knives come in many sizes, a variety of blade shapes, and tons of colors! These knives also come in AUS-8 steel for a price you can't beat!

I looked long and hard at the Kalashnikovs for weeks. I initially chose the Blue Scorpion, but my wife beat me to the mailbox and staked a claim to it. So I ordered the bowie, black with black blade. I'm happy I did. I've always loved bowie blades and now I have a pocket sized EDC bowie with the lightning fast snap of a Boker we all know and love. It's razor sharp. I have a bald spot on my forearm to prove it and hopefully the D2 holds that true. This is a cool little blade and it's one of the most inexpensive models that Blade HQ offers. It's a no brainer. Well made, strong and fast blade deployment. Overall good build quality, came sharp, well packaged, and arrived very fast. I intend to buy a couple more for xmas presents!
This knife is great for the price. Fast and Strong open. Didn't come with a great edge but took an edge quickly. Definitely buy if you've never had an auto.
I have had several Boker Kalashnikov's but this has become my daily carry. It light, fast and holds an edge well. Its light enough for me to carry on my running shorts when out for even long rubs with no discomfort and without tugging on my shorts as I run. Excellent knife!
this is my first automatic or switchblade knife. for the price it is a great knife, it come sharp, light weight, and it snaps open very fast. I love it
I am happy/satisfied with my knife. Blade HQ sent me what I ordered and quickly. I tried the knife, nice strong opener. I checked, like others did, regarding up and down, side to side movement on the blade. It was solid. The blade was very sharp. The knife feels good in my hand. Thanks Blade HQ, Mark
This is #5 of the Boker Kalashnikov line that I have bought for myself and as gifts. The quality and reliability have been outstanding at a very reasonable price. I would recommend any of the versions to anyone looking for a auto at a reasonable price. Rich O
Had watched the blade HQ video on autos and was curious about the k 74s, but still unsure. How good could a $40.00 auto be?Well, I picked one of these up on a Father's day special for $30.00 and I have to say they're still a great deal at $40. Have a good grip on it when opening 'cause this thing's snappy. Feels good in hand, too. Aus8 steel is adequate for a knife at this price point. Blade is well centered and there is no significant blade play. Arrived fast and sharp. Really feels and performs like a much more expensive knife. We'll see how it holds up over time. I coupled mine with the Cordura sheath and really like carrying it horizontally. Very convenient and easy access. I am an outdoorsman, modest collector and carry at least one knife on me everyday. I own spydercos, cold steel, benchmade, and many others. I now like one in my pocket and the 74 on my belt because it's just so fun and satisfying to open. Get one. It's worth it.
This thing is a joy in the hands and the ears. Build quality seems to be fantastic. Blade is perfectly centered, functions flawlessly, and the individual serial number is a hell of a bragging point. (I have #0040) If your in the market for an automatic, especially if it's your first one, this is a fantastic knife. You will not be disappointed. Thanks blade HQ! Would buy again.
Great knife for the price. Nice construction and material. Only improvement I would like to see is a little stronger opening spring, to snap it open a little faster. Other than that it is a 5 star knife.
Decent knife for 40 bucks. Opens reliably every time, easy to sharpen.
Fun knife to fidget with, overall very sturdy construction and good ergos and has a nice deep carry clip(although ugly). Boker needs to step it up with at least D2 steel or better though as I'm needing to sharpen it constantly.
