Description:
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov completed development of a rifle designed to arm millions of Soviet soldiers. It is now known as the AK-47 and remains in active use to this day, being the most manufactured rifle in history. It is so loved because it gets the job done, is very economical, and keeps ticking, no matter what you throw at it. The Boker Kalashnikov knife is inspired by the iconic weapon, with a simple design, no frills, and maximum functionality. The Kalashnikov is made of high-performance, high-value materials. It has a strong lock, dependable action, and a handle that just wants to go to work. The Kalashnikov truly is a knife that makes its namesake proud!
Boker Kalashnikov Knives come in many sizes, a variety of blade shapes, and tons of colors! These knives also come in AUS-8 steel for a price you can't beat!
Looking to add some flare to your Kalashnikov? Check out these sleek Flytanium pocket clips! These pocket clips only fit the regular models not the Mini or the XXL.
*Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do warranty the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.
The knife is awesome to open and close. The snappiness of the blade opening is so fun and addicting to repeat. The bade could have been a little sharper but seems sturdy. Worth the money! Would recommend.
I got this knife for my little bro as a wedding present. He loves it and wears it every day. The green paint on the aluminum scales is wearing off nicely, making the knife exude a sweet Boba Fett vibe. I got jealous and bought the Strike Warhawk in D2 since I'm more of a metal snob. It's a good knife too, but not as snappy as this guy. I wish they made the the Kalashnikov Warhawk in D2.
I really like this knife. It is made very well and was very sharp when I received it. It is not heavy so it is comfortable to carry. The spring is very strong. It should last a long time with use. Great price for an automatic knife.
The spring on this knife will last a lifetime. Pretty sure upon opening the box, I cycled it over 1,000 times remembering the first switchblade bought in Juarez that broke before I made it back across the border. Bought 6 more for Dad, Father-in law, and brothers. I broke the clip on my first one a few weeks ago and and didn't even think twice about buying another. Great feel and design for this ol' Air Force Vet. Reminds me of loading bombs on A-10's.
Got this a day before a fishing trip used it all fishing trip, love it great action, cant ask for a better budge auto
Very pleased with the design, sharpness, packaging. Very easy to disassemble and re-assemble after cleaning. Spring is crazy knife is almost flying out of my hand every time I activate it. I love it!
This knife is pretty sweet and excellently priced. I really like the design and the blade does hold up as a good edc.
Love the green handle, black blade combination. I also appreciate the nod to the WWII airplanes with the snarling teeth. The blade snaps out like one of Bruce Lee's punches! Really sharp too. I took some time deciding to get a Boker, but the looks (and sale price) of this one settled it for me. Glad I did. Nice addition to any collection.
This knife was a birthday present for my brother. He works in the oil field so his knives need to be sturdy, snappy and easy to use with gloves and in rough conditions. This knife excels in all of those categories. Everything from the action to the feel of the knife is top notch. Not only does this knife work well beyond what it advertises itself as, the look blew me away. The pictures do not give this knife justice. Considering the incredibly cheap price tag on this knife, its outstanding build and its beautiful look, its a steal.
I've been rotating this knife and my Kershaw Al Mar AM-3 in my EDC. I'd love to regale you with tales of lore, but beneath the "fun" factor of the Warhawk with it's vintage window dressing it's a typical Kalashnikov. Tight and snappy. I will tell you I REALLY like this knife. The second day I was carrying this it disappeared. I gave my apartment a quick once over, but I had to leave for work. The entire day all I could think of was... "Mannn... I just got that knife. They're probably going to be out of stock if I have to order a new one..." I don't even have an epic boomerang knife story for this. I wish I did. After stressing over it for nine(ish) hours I got home and tossed the couch cushions and there is was... I heard the thump as it tumbled from it's hiding place and hit the floor. Crisis averted. But the fact that I would have ordered a new one immediately should speak for itself... Thanks for the addition to my collection, and... Have a knife day.
I bought this knife as a Christmas gift for my nephew. It looks really cool and reminds me of the WWII plane logos. Upon inspection I realized it was an auto, much to my surprise it worked flawlessly. It a smooth open and close. There's ample room for my large hand to comfortably grasp. The only challenge so far is my mistake in not ordering two. It's going to be difficult to wrap this knife up and actually give it away. Oh BTW it comes in a cool box that looks like a 20 round curved magazine. In my eyes a great gift.
Quality for the price is by far one of the best! It feels so solid in hand and the action is fast and insanely solid. Can't wait to beat on this knife and put it to work.
This is my first automatic knife, after looking at reviews and not wanting to spend too much money, I can say with absolutely certainty, that this knife IS TOP NOTCH!. Everything, from the feel, to the quick release, SHARP blade -- You really get a bang for your buck on this one.
VERY NICE KNIFE, STRONG SPRING. VERY SHARP. I LKE VERY MUCH. THANK YOU
super snappy, good build and great price. plus its fun to play with
I love this knife. It it is so fun and snappy to use. The look reminds me of one of the old fighter jets. I have had it close to a year now. It is a reliable edc and I LOVE the red clip.
This is one fun knife to carry. It's my first automatic knife and the speed and the sound of its crisp snapping when opening it is awesome. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and think it is one of the best deals on any knife. The blade is plenty sharp for your EDC needs though it is not as light or quite as sharp as my Benchmade Bugout, but it's close and for the price, it is a must-have for knife enthusiasts. The image on the blade is reminiscent of the P51 Mustang fighter plane flown during WWII and it tickles my nostalgia bone. The deep pocket clip holds it securely in your pocket while keeping it hidden from prying eyes. The ridges on the handle make for a secure grip. I wouldn't mind a little more texture on the handle, but it is more than sufficient for all my needs. The only things I would change on the blade are some aesthetics. I would change the button that opens the blade to something other than yellow and the clip to black, dark brown or khaki. I am certain that almost everyone will love this knife, especially for the price and quality.
this is my first automatic knife, and I am in love with it. The size is perfect. The grip is solid. and it feels like a much more premium knife. I'm not the biggest fan of dagger blades, but I feel like it fits this knife very well. the top part of the blade is pretty narrow, so if you put your finger on the top of the blade often, this is probably not the knife for you. Of course I also really like the look. That's the main reason why I bought it.
I haven't ordered the knife yet, but when it comes back into stock i'm immediately. It looks really cool and i can imagine it will work fantastic too!
The Warhawk edition Kalashnikov is fantastic! Looks cool, slaps open pretty hard, fires every time and seems like it will last forever. Silly good value, you won't regret buying one from BLADEHQ!
Definitely a cool knife, love the color accents and it fires out like a cannon. Not the best EDC but anyone who sees it want it.
What else can i say. The knife fire 100% of the time and looks great while doing it. solid purchase.
I really wanted a kalashnikov knife but couldnt decide on the pattern, then i saw the warhawk! I love the theme and bought it as soon as i saw it had been restocked. I ordered on friday afternoon and my knife was waiting for me monday morning in my mailbox! thank you so much for the excellent service bladehq!
First up Strong open! Second Awesome paint job, as an airforce vet this thing is more then just a knife. Finally at the price point you're not afraid to use it and I got a feeling this will look even better worn.
All the Auto Awesome that is the Boker Kalashnikov plus a fun paint scheme. Missed this the first time, jumped on it when I saw it back in stock. love the way the Clip and Button pop with color along with the Warhawk design on the blade make it a fun edition without all the wording like on the normal Kalashnikovs. Great price too.
It's everything a Boker Kalashnikov is, plus shark's teeth! (And a great nod to the venerable Curtis Warhawk in the bargain). What's not to love? I passed it up the first time BHQ had this, and had suffered non-buyer's remorse ever since. Really glad to have this thing in my collection now.
I own 3 Kalashnikovs (5, once the Jedi lightsaber blades are released). 1 I use as an EDC, the others are collectible safe queens. This one is my favorite. I am a big fan of the P-40 Warhawk airplane, so I couldn't believe it when this edition made a reappearance. Fit & finish are excellent, considering this is a 43.00 knife, and that blade snap is as satisfying as ever. The piece de resistance of this knife however is the color scheme and blade markings. Now I wish Boker and Blade HQ would make an aircraft series, reminiscent of other classic planes. Thanks for this gift Boker and Blade HQ, I love this knife.
Admittedly, this is mostly a safe queen, as I do not want to ruin the finish on this warhawk edition. That being said, it feels great in the hand and is very very snappy on open. Really jumps out. The blade steel isn't perfect, but for this price, especially for an auto, is not bad at all. The pocket clip is too bright for me, and if I were to carry this, it would stand out too much, but this is not going to be carried. I've determined that I like this enough just from playing with it, opening it, etc, that I want to buy one that I'll actually use, considering the damascus or upgraded blade steel options for that. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an auto.
After wanting an auto & studying I decided that this would be a good entry level knife. Got mine today, The yellow push button came chipped around the edge.. lil upset about that but other then that it’s flawless. Wants to snap out of your hand. Super pleased & would recommend it
This knife is pretty sweet and excellently priced. I really like the design and the blade does hold up as a good edc.
I was long overdue to pick up a Boker AK. I’ve always heard good things about them but figured that I had to pull the trigger when I saw this color variation. Really nice feel with a FAST action. Order one (or two) before they stop making them!
Very fast action Amazing design Very good knife for the price Mainly bought this knife for the design but it will be my edc knife. It's a nice knife didn't come out too sharp out of the box. All I could ask is that the knife could have been a little bit bigger just a little bit haha. I highly recommend this knife.
Love this solid, well built knife. With actual use, the blade graphic and paint wears off a little quicker than I had expected. One of my favorite carry knives. Still crisp and solid after a year of moderate use for edc. 3 days a week or so.
This thing is ridiculous. I love it. The action is very nice. On first use I used it to cut open a 40lb cat litter box (very sturdy cardboard) and some of the coating on the blade has already come off so watch what you're cutting.
This was my first auto and I an 100% in love with it only problem I can find is the red clips paint will rub off onto your pant and the red makes it super obvious you have a knife
The knife feels great in hand and I really enjoy the automatic action. Feels like a quality knife for a small cost. Some things I'd like to change though is that the pocket clip coating wears very easily and button feels a little sticky. Hopefully it'll smooth out with more use. Other than that, great knife and a totally rad design!
Cool looking knife. End of story. It opened quickly as expected, but it was the dullest knife I have ever received from Blade HQ. When open, the blade had 3/16 “ of lateral play at the tip. If it were sharp, I would be afraid to try to cut with it. I have bought $20 Kershaw imports with better edges. It took three emails and two phone calls over a two week period to return it. This is the first time I’ve had problems with BHQ customer service. Part of it was my fault. I did try to sharpen the knife. BE ADVISED: don’t do that if you think you’ll want to return it. Sharpening or attempting to sharpen a knife makes it used. In all fairness, because of their lack of email response they agreed to let me return it. I suppose I could add half a star for that. After reading all the reviews, I was disappointed in the knife. Bought a Kershaw launch. More money but way better quality.
