This Kalashnikov knife features an exclusive Dagger blade in a smokewash finish. It is a limited edition Kalashnikov model with a blue finished handle and a smokewash finished blade. The AUS-8 stainless steel blade is double-edged with just one edge sharpened (the other edge is used to fold the blade closed).

The ergonomically shaped handle is aluminum with molded finger grips and jimping where the handle and blade meet. The design is thin, elegant and comfortable. The action of this knife is first rate and comparable to that of the Boker Magnum automatic series. As with other Kalashnikov knives, this knife comes with a stainless steel pocket clip for easy tip-up carry.

The first thing you'll notice when you get your knife is that the box is shaped like an AK-47 magazine ("Kalashnikov" is the name of the Russian who designed the AK-47 assault rifle). Inside the box sits the knife, a beautiful piece of work.

I have no complaints about it. This is a great knife for the money. I plan to buy the whole collection lol.
Tight release at first
Walter B.
When I first received the Boker Kalashnikov the release button was very stiff. I lubed it up with Benchmade Blue Lube and it began to operate. After operating the mechanism a dozen or so times it got much easier.
The quality is great for the price. The blade is very sharp and there is absolutely no wiggle in the action. I'm actually glad the release is a little hard to press so it won't open in my pocket.
I guess Kevin S. must have a weak thumb.
Automatic open is trash

Nice handle and good blade but the auto open button ruins the knife for me. If it loosens up over time, great. But for now itís hard to push and you can feel it hanging up while youíre trying to open the knife.
Some good, some bad
Brian T.
There is no doubt that this is a nice knife. Itís solid at this price point, stays sharp, and looks great too. The problem with it is in the automatic mechanism. As someone else said, it is very notchy. You can actually press it to a few different levels before it opens. I realize itís a conversion, but I feel it should still work smoothly. I no longer carry it because I have smoother opening knives.
Great Knife

Just received this knife yesterday and I have to say I really like it, handle fits my hand perfectly and itís pretty sharp right out of the box. Very well built and well worth the $40 I paid, actually think Iíll be ordering another. Only complaint I have is the auto open button is pretty notchy and pretty hard to press to get it to release the action. Hoping it will smooth out over time and use. Tried a little oil but that did nothing...
Excellent Quality Automatic

This is my first Boker folder knife so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm extremely impressed with the blade and handle quality as well as the automatic action. Feels great in the hand as well as great attention to detail. You will not be dissapointed with your purchase.
