Description:
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov completed development of a rifle designed to arm millions of Soviet soldiers. It is now known as the AK-47 and remains in active use to this day, being the most manufactured rifle in history. It is so loved because it gets the job done, is very economical, and keeps ticking, no matter what you throw at it. The Boker Kalashnikov knife is inspired by the iconic weapon, with a simple design, no frills, and maximum functionality. The Kalashnikov is made of high-performance, high-value materials. It has a strong lock, dependable action, and a handle that just wants to go to work. The Kalashnikov truly is a knife that makes its namesake proud!
Boker Kalashnikov Knives come in many sizes, a variety of blade shapes, and tons of colors! These knives also come in AUS-8 steel for a price you can't beat!
Looking to add some flare to your Kalashnikov? Check out these sleek Flytanium pocket clips! These pocket clips only fit the regular models not the Mini or the XXL.

Very nice knife for the price. It's hard to get an automatic knife as nice as this for a price point like that.
I have had this knife for awhile and carry it for work everyday. It has never let me down and the action is still very snappy. The finish has worn off the blade and I sharpen it often, but I love this knife. The only change that I have made when purchasing the next one is getting a non-painted blade. The paint chips and I think that the natural silver color will look better for a longer period of time.
Based on first impressions: This knife has a very strong opening mechanism. There really isn't any wiggle of the blade, once opened. The blade steel is high quality, and is sharp. I have medium-sized hands, and the handle fits, albeit just barely. Overall, I'm happy with this knife.
Mine was slightly dull when I received it, but after running it through my Spyderco sharpener, it took a real nice edge. Feels just as solid as my Kershaw folder. Very solid lockup with no wobble. I put a few drops of lube on the pivots, which made the deployment even better. Great deal.
I was rather surprised at how well made this is. The knife has a great feel to it and the blade is razor sharp. The blade lines up dead center when folded up. There is absolutely no blade play. The knife was a little stiff when I got it. All I did was use a little knife oil and loosened the torque a smidge. She's fast and smooth now and still kicks like a mule. My order came pretty fast...4 days. I'm very impressed with the quality of this knife and the professional team at Blade HQ. Thank you Keith D.
First time buying from BadeHQ. Certainly won't be the last. I swear their shipping was as fast as Amazon. What a great knife for EDC. Light, fast, fits well in the hand, it certainly will be replacing the Gerber EDC I currently use. Now I can't wait for the Buck Automatics to be in stock. Guess I'l have to buy a few more in the meantime. Way to go guys, excellent experience.
I’m impressed for the money it’s a real nice knife. The fit and finish is very good the blade snaps out fast and solid . The blade came well centered and very very sharp . The pocket clip is kinda funky but it’s comfortable to grip and carries deep . HTH
I'm a big knife guy. Heck, I'm a big automatic knife guy. I have frequently seen this knife featured on BHQ youtube videos and I guess I wanted to know what the hype was about. It exceeded my expectations. Quick deployment, smooth hardware, and very little blade play. The only question I have is: which style of Kalashnikov am I getting next! Side note: They also make them in D2 steel, so if you are looking for something a little better than AUS8 check those out. I would immediately jump for one with an even better steel so Boker, if you're listening, S30V or 154 would be ideal.
Very nice entry into the automatic knives without paying the big bucks. Well made has good balance and feel. I bought the little brother to it as well. So far I am liking them both very much!!!
This is a great knife. Feels good in the hand and the very quick blade deployment works like it should. Blade came very sharp right out of the very cool box shaped like an AK magazine. Shipping is very reasonable and very quick.
like the feature of this knife quick to open clip feature easy to remove when caring in pants pocket.
It has a very fast open and its a real steal for the price of only $40! Its super sharp and feels great to hold and clip onto my belt. Don't miss out on this deal!
awesome knife, bought one awhile ago and is still a solid knife for work or everyday use, would totally recommend to anyone looking for a good knife for a good price
Definitely a solid knife, FAST opening. Love the blacked out look and works well at night when concealing. Love it. Definitely a user and very affordable.
Solid construction,, extremely Sharp,,glad I bought it
If you're a knife nut there's no way you haven't heard of this knife. A $40 auto made me question its quality and reliability at first but after hearing so much about it and its good reviews I decided to purchase one. Best. Budget. Auto. Knife. Ever. I've owned this knife for years now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's a classic. Yes, yes you do need one.
An extremely snappy knife for the price. This thing has as much kick as a black belt in Taekwondo. There’s absolutely no play in the blade, super solid construction. For a fully auto and AUS-8 steel that comes sharp out of the box, it’s a great price point.
I've owned dozens of knives, including switchblades, and this baby is one of the tightest-fitting, smoothest operating, ones I've ever seen. The fit and finish are superb. You can't beat it for EDC. It's worth every penny and A LOT MORE. If a combo blade was offered, I would probably buy it. If wood and stag handles were offered, I'd be forced to buy some more. The way I see it is: A person can't be too rich, too thin, or own too many guns and knives.
This knife has a super snappy action with a razor sharp blade. At first, I was a bit disappointed with the release button, ( it seemed a little sticky ) but, when I thought about it, do I want a hair trigger on something this snappy and sharp while it's riding in my pants … I think not !!! The workmanship is top rate (thanks Taiwan ! ) and you CANNOT BEAT THIS PRICE !!!
Was gift for my cousin she loves it fits her hands real well and the spring is real strong.
I got this knife because I've always wanted an automatic knife to play around with and I was surprised by how snappy this thing is for the price. The button was a little creeky and stiff when I first got it but I sprayed some gun oil in it and now it's smooth as heck.
Very impressed with this knife, bought it after watching one of the knife banters on autos and certainly do not regret it. And blade hq has possibly the best shipping, super fast even with the standard shipping.
Bought this after much research as my first auto and i absolutely love it. Super quick to open. ZERO blade wobble secure lock up and a great pocket clip. The blade shaved hair straight out of the box. Hope they come out with a 4 inch or bigger in the future!
Action was a little slow and felt gritty at first but it's getting faster and smoothing out more every time I open it. Fit and finish is pretty good. Fits my hand good. I really feel like I got more than what I paid for with this knife.
I have been carrying one for over a year and it still opens with authority and locks up tight. It did have a bit of creep when it was new but smoothed out fairly quickly with use. Just ordered another one to have as a back up.
The action is brilliant. Clip....Bacon? French Fry sizzle clip? It Doesn't even match the contour of the handle. just feels like the clip doesn't match the scales. Oh and i love Boka Knives, D2 at this price.... Just consistency at this price needs to be respected. It's a beast and we know it. I have yet to try the XXL but based on the spring, I bet it gets it open. 2 cents worth. It's legendary....clip...off
Man you guys aren't kidding, this Boker is strong and snappy! You KNOW you have a powerful, well built auto when the thing tries to jump out of your hand when opening! This knife leaps out and is ready to WORK. I just wish I'd paid closer attention when I ordered to notice that Boker makes a left-handed version... this is a right handed deploying knife only. Attempting to deploy the blade in the left hand is awkward.
I really like this knife i have not cut a lot with it but what i have it dose the job really well and carry's in my pocket really good !
Love the look and feel of this knife build quality is excellent and at around 40$ its hard to beat i wish i would have known that they make the same knife with D2 steel which is in my opinion a bit better than the aus8 the standard comes with but still a decent steel, i am pleased with the purchase and will probably get the mini boker pretty soon!
I purchased this blade for two main reasons, I wanted an automatic and I like knives. I am in construction among other things and the automatic feature is exactly as the Youtube intro. The blade was sharp right out of the box and was even better with a little bit of honing to finish the edge. Having one handed automatic opening is not only very satisfying from a fun aspect but also helpful when you need it and only one hand is free, especially in pinch. I recommend this knife for anyone. It has a great heft, fit and finish and really solid build. Extremely good value.
Sharp right out of the box little slow at first oiled and played with and getting better. Button is nice not much effort to push and activate I like it as a tool.
Make sure you oil and work the action and this knife will treat you well.
Boker BM1 Dagger is a decent knife. Tight blade with no slop. The button release is stiff, having to push it down pretty much with your thumbnail, and difficult to find by by touch alone. Good for EDC, but self defense?
As stated, they do have a bit of blade creep on the button. Otherwise in this price point for an auto, I'm satisfied. Did a little work on the creep, a little oiling, and she works like a charm. Auto and AUS8 for under $40, is a pretty decent deal. Keep up the good work BHQ. Order fulfillment and shipping were fast as usual.
I ordered the smoke and received the black. Other than paying 39.99 and getting the 29.99 knife, the knife itself seems to be simple and strong. Solid flip out and simple lock up. Tight blade. One thing is the creep in the button. I oiled it but its got a lot of creep. I should take it apart and polish the button where it makes contact and I bet the creep could be reduced.
I have a small nick on the bevel and on one side the bevel is sharpened onto the choil. The blade was also pretty dull, struggled to cut paper. I expected better out of the box from the factory. Overall, the finger grooves fit my hand perfectly and the knife feels pretty solid. There was little to no blade play.
Not a bad knife by any means but I strongly dislike it. My friend had one an I loved the snappy action but that's all there is to it. Knife came very dull out the box. So dull might as well use it to spread butter. AUS-8 is just steel I strongly dislike for edc. Doesn't hold an edge, soft, and oxidizes easily. Pretty heavy as well honestly. Looks good though.
