The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula". We know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor - the IZULA knife is built the same way. This knife is designed to be the perfect lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife. Includes durable black injection molded carry sheath (see picture).

Complete Izula kit includes: Ambidextrous Sheath, Sheath Clip, Paracord (for cord wrapping handle or use as a lanyard), cord lock, Snap (for snapping system on to outdoor gear), Split Ring, Fire Flint, Whistle, and Instruction Sheet.

Purchased this knife back in December as a Christmas present for myself. I own several esee knives (junglas, esee 5, esee 6, candiru and 2 izulas) and have always been happy with their performance.

I ended up purchasing a kydex sheath and carry it as a neck knife. Also added the black handles to help with the grip.

The knife itself is built like a tank. As with all esee knives they will take a beating and if you do happen to break one (not sure how you would break one) they will replace it no questions asked. Loved the blade hq YouTube review of carrying fixed blade knives as an edc option. I carry a fixed blade as well as a folder daily ( usually a spyderco para2). The inherent strength of a fixed blade is what I appreciate the most when using the izula. I know I am not going to worry about locking strength. I use my folder for boxes, rope and all light tasks but will break out the izula for heavier chores. You won't go wrong getting any esee knife and for $50 the izula is a steal.
