The Launch 4 has a California-legal blade and ridiculously fast action. Its symmetry in design, both the red 6061-T6 aluminum handle and the black spear point blade, adds distinction. Following the tradition of its predecessors, the Launch 4 has a black firing button and a tip-up carry pocket clip. This knife is a pint-sized performer!

Kershaw's automatic knife offering, the Launch Series, is simply superb. These knives have a compelling design, fast action, high-performance materials, and they're made in the USA!

What an amazing, sturdy little auto in such a small package. I'm already thinking about buying another. Kershaw has really nailed it with this model. I hope they expand the line. I'd jump on a Launch 4 with G10 scales, steel liner, and S30V-S35V blade. My only gripe is the thickness and grind of the blade. Though it's stubby and stout, it really doesn't seem to slow down the cutting potential as much as I thought.
Very small, but very strong

I expected there to be a light tap when opening this knife, but it was a tough and loud opening. Not only does this have great steel, but it's built tough and surprisingly ergonomic.
When I showed it to my friends, they weren't freaked out that I just pulled out an automatic knife, they actually asked "Wait, that's a knife?" A full sized auto knife will freak out everyone in the room, but this is considered a box cutter in my eyes, a really cool box cutter.
Great Little Knife

This is an excellent little knife. It's fast, sharp, and small enough to carry around in any pocket. The action button is reassessed, and has never opened accidentally while carrying.
