Spyderco's Lil' Nilakka is a Flash Batch "gentleman folding Puukko" knife. It has an RWL-34 stainless steel blade with a full-flat grind that tapers to a microbevel for incredible sharpness. The handle features white G-10 scales and a reliable liner lock mechanism. Includes a tip-up wire pocket clip.

The Lil' Nilakka is Spyderco's first "Flash Batch", which is similar to a Sprint Run, but features a brand new design not previously produced. Each knife in this Flash Batch is individually numbered. This is a one-time-only production run.

Slicing Machine

This is both a collectable and a slicing machine. I plan on keeping this as either an investment or a family heirloom.
Very nice little knife

Glad I got it. Must have for a collector.
What they said...except for wire (ugh) clip

I agree with Messrs. Gary F. and Gary K... this simply is an exquisite, elegant, and razor-like little blade - an instant treasure. What an interesting constellation of design/manufacturing talents, too. Hope Spyderco repeats the flash-build venture. and continues to explore the possibilities of blending traditional with latter-day design elements, materials, and prod. methods. That alone might compel interest in this lovely knife, but actually handling and using it to cut things is the clincher. This is about the sharpest out-of-box experience I've ever had...it's such an amazing edge I'm scared to mess with perfection, and I don't normally hang back when it comes to tweaking my edge-tools. Highly recommended - and thanks to other reviewers who encouraged me to check it out.
No regrets
Gary F.
The simplicity and elegance reeled me in. When the blade is extended it has the silhouette of a graceful cigarette boat. Flawless detail. The layered back spacer looks like one solid piece. It is sooo sharp... and it's very sharp too!
Goes with my Tuxedo

Classy non-threatening EDC. Everyone loves this knife in the office. Came in Spyderco pouch. Taichung Taiwan / Spyderco RWL 34 / Pekka Tuominen (script) / 0577 of 1200 / (Logo) on blade. All small unassuming lettering. I get 3.5 fingers on this, and grip is good. No jimping, no choiles. Gentle arc to ivory colored handle. Easy, smooth opening, but not flickable due to small blade size. Flat grind with Microbevel. Wire clip that works well with dress pants. If I carried a knife while wearing a tuxedo, this would be it.

Only thing I didn't love was the Spydey hole is designed slightly offset from finger cutaway. Very usable, but not perfect.
