Since it's release, the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 has become a favorite from field to forum, and for good reason. It's got the ergonomics, materials, build quality, and strength that makes it a dependable companion for anyone, and the Compression Lock and thumb hole opener make it smooth and easy to operate one handed. The PM 2 has been released in several colors and blade steels, but so far, it has only been made with a leaf-shaped blade and a full flat grind.
Instead of just chopping the tip off and calling it good, Spyderco designed the perfect tanto for the PM2. The blade starts with a stout blade stock that gets a hollow grind on the primary edge, and a then off to a flat grinder for the secondary edge and the swedge. The result is a blade that can both take a beating and perform delicate work.
While the blade is new, the handle is identical to the original PM2, and all scales compatible with the original PM2 are compatible with this one.
Features:- Premium CPM-S30V, compound ground blade with a satin finish.
- Black G-10 handle scales and Spyderco's original Compression Lock.
- Oversized lanyard hole and four-way reversible pocket clip.

Customer Reviews
1. The grinds are amazing. The blade has a very strong tanto tip, yet retains much of the original PM2's slicing capability due to the hollow grind.
2. The overall blade shape is a work of art. All the lines flow well together and very much appeals to my love of japanese katanas.
3. The added weight of this model vs the standard PM2 is focused all on the blade, and grants multiple benefits. It creates a stouter blade which lends well to a MUCH better piercer. The heavier blade stock also lends to a satisfying drop shut fidget knife.
I am selling all my PM2s in my collection since this model has rendered them boring. It is THAT good.
