The Kershaw Blur is a favorite among knife enthusiasts. The Blur has the build and performance of a great general purpose knife with everyday carry friendly attributes as well. The Ken Onion designed Blur is an assisted opening knife, just give the blade a push with the ambidextrous thumb stud and the Speed Safe technology finishes opening the blade! To close, just slide the liner lock to release the blade.

I have beat this knife like a rented mule and it just comes back for more. I carried it every day for over 2 years subjecting it to hard use and a harsh environment. The assist still snaps open and the edge has only required a quick hone every now and then. The blade is substantial enough to be versatile, but the handle is still slim and sturdy enough for it to be convenient to carry and unobtrusive in the pocket. I've occasionally thought about buying a second one as a backup, but this thing has been so tough that I end up deciding that I probably won't ever need another.
Awesome comfort and grip. Awesome edge geometry. Nice blade/handle proportions. It's a Blur. If you're going to use it, it will reward you. This is one of the few recurves and the only combo edge I've purchased. I like that the serrations only cover the recurve portion of the blade. This makes sharpening a little easier. 14C28N is not a super steel, but it's a darn good steel that holds an edge surprisingly well. It looks great in Black/Black too.
One of the first knives I ever owned. I ended up purchasing it in many colors (black, red, od green and many steels (440A, Sandvic 12c27n, 14c28n, 154cm, S30V). I love the recurve blade and it was the first knife I owned with speed safe. The more knives I carried the more I found there were things I didn't like about this knife. With hard use the blade would develop play. The thumb stud is sharp and you tend to scratch your hand when putting you hand in your pocket. The handles were so aggressively textured they tore up a lot of my jean pockets. NOTE: These are issues with Blurs from 2012 and before. I haven't handled a newer Blur so some, if not all issues might have been fixed. Build quality: 4 stars Materials: 4 stars Aesthetics: 3 stars Personal likability: 3 stars
I like every thing about the knife. The grip won't slip out your hand and feels good. The assisted action is clean and the blade locks up tight. It comes sharp and the serrated part will slice through bone. This is a great American made knife for the price
First off all this is the sharpest knife out off the box I ever bought and I love the blade shape but I don’t like the pocket clip in my opinion it’s just not deep enough other than that a good edc knife
Nice american made knife sturdy and at a good price
