Awesome knife

First off, made in the USA so by default 3 stars, but factor in how sharp it came, the ergonomics, how light weight it is, and the price. Definite 5 stars

Great Self-defense and EDC for Fiancée
Blake S. on Aug 11, 2020

I purchased this knife for my fiancée when she asked for a something that can work for self-defense and some general edc. Her one stipulation being that it has to be assisted. My first thought was Kershaw / ZT. I had been looking at the Blur for myself for sometime in the non-tanto version. But I knew a tanto would be a better fit for what she wanted it for. And since ZT's tend to be larger and heavy, this was a natural choice since she has smaller hands. The knife is great and she loves it. The blade comes out quick and the trac-tec rubber inserts are more grippy than I thought it would be. The secondary tip is nice for EDC at her work. And the primary tip comes to a surprisingly usable sharp point. And even though the knife is a bit larger, it contours to both of our hands nicely for a solid grip. It's also very light because of the aluminum. It also helps that the blade coating "Looks like a zebra", her words. Overall this knife was better than I thought. Now I need to get one for myself.

The blur is great. Smooth action, super sharp. Tanto blade is a favorite design of mine. The Tiger Stripe is a bit more subdued than what picture shows, but I love it. Overall size of knife is excellent for me and feels great in hand. Nice grip.

Fine knife for the price
Andy Y. on Jul 30, 2016

Used mine for years. Hard use tough blade. Sandvik steel is great for the price, with easy maintenance and semi good retention. Speed safe is adequate, nice slim blade for the money.

Great Tactical Knife

Fantastic fit in the hand and reliable assisted opening. I got the tanto because my sharpening setup can not sharpen recurves very well. Very light and very comfy to use.
