Description

Description

The Kershaw Blur is a favorite among knife enthusiasts. The Blur has the build and performance of a great general purpose knife with everyday carry friendly attributes as well. The Ken Onion designed Blur is an assisted opening knife, just give the blade a push with the ambidextrous thumb-stud and the Speed Safe technology finishes opening the blade! To close, just slide the liner lock to release the blade.

The 1670GBBLKST Blur features a tactical black finished blade with a partially serrated edge and an anodized aluminum handle with Trac-Tek inserts for superior gripping power in all conditions. Black reversible pocket clip for tip-up or down carry. This model also includes a carbide glass breaker tip.

This knife gets everything right. The blade shape is very versatile and the shape of the serrations seem to keep sharp longer than others. The material holds an edge for a long time. The handle is full and comfortable while still being thin enough for comfortable EDC. The assisted opening springs out reliably every time. My only gripe is the rubber inserts, which can make the knife hard to remove from the pocket and chews up jeans quite a bit. I think Kershaw did some models with different inserts like carbon fiber and wood which Id like to see more of.
Great knife
