First left handed auto and could not be happier. I’ve had this knife 2 years and it still functions like new. I will say that after submerging in water it opens slowly for a bit. Little WD and good as new. I’m hard on knives. This has held up great. No broken tips and still takes an edge. Color has faded on both the handle and the blade but again I have beat the snot out of this. Came here to order another for a friend and I’m disappointed it’s out of stock.
This is a nice left handed knife. First time ive had a left handed auto. I ordered it on a friday and it came in on a monday. Fast shipping and service.
First, thanks, BladeHQ, for being the best place to shop for knives, bar none. So inexpensive for something I love so much, even more than knives costing 3 times the price. Great blade shape, still fast-acting action, love the copper and green coloring, and enjoy opening it again and again. And I cannot believe that I can get an auto for a left-hander. I'm such a big fan of Boker, I'd love to buy more of their great designs in a left-hand friendly format.

I own a normal right-handed Kalashnikov and love it. So I bought one for a left-handed friend and he carries it everywhere. Great knife for the price.
This little beauty is perfect for everyday carry. Solidly built. No wiggles whatsoever. I reprofiled the blade to a 19 degree using the KME sharpening system and it sharpens easily. After a weeks of used, the edge held up cutting through card boxes, ropes and fertilizer bags. Can't beat it for the price.
I bought this item for my son, he is 19 and is about to move out of the house. I wanted to get him something special and budget friendly. Hard a hard time finding something but I got a an email stating that the left handed version of the Boker Kalashnikov Desert warrior was finally available again, well I snatched up. When it arrived I looked it over and what an impressive knife the level of detail and craftsmanship is excellent. Made me have to get one for myself, my son was so happy and that it was left handed blew him away, he states he is now spoiled and will always have to order left handed knives from now own. First day he took it to work and put it through some pretty rough back country, (he is a land surveyor), vines, ropes and straps. used it all day and no wiggle in the blade and even after getting some grime and sand it, the knife just kept firing off like it did when he first hit the button.
I had this Boker on order for several months before it was available. Being CCW person and right handed I needed an auto that could be carried in my left pocket and deployed with my left,this knife does that for me. The spring is strong, the blade very sharp, and it seems indestructible with it’s aluminum scales. I have been carrying a righty one for over a year now but this is my new EDC.
Not many autos available as lefties. {And sometimes you need an auto in each pocket!} Typical Boker “SNAP!” when you press the button. Copper blade finish and OD green scales look really nice. Feels great in the hand. Tiniest bit of blade wobble and slightly off center but for the price, in a Left Hand auto, you just can’t beat it.
Being a lefty i was very happy to see the discounted release of the Boker Kalashnikov left handed. The blade is double edged with one end sharpened to ensure safe closing. I love the action on this knife as well as the deep carry pocket clip. I own two auto's now and they both happen to be by Boker. I'm looking forward to continuous use with this blade for years to come!!
Fit and finish are excellent. Operation is slick and smooth. The sharpness could be a lot better. Other brands are much sharper out of the box. I am waiting for a rainy day to sharpen this and another Boker.
