This Blade HQ Exclusive Boker Kalashnikov features a black D2 blade with a skull graphic and a black handle.
In 1947, Mikhail Kalashnikov completed development of a rifle designed to arm millions of Soviet soldiers. It is now known as the AK-47 and remains in active use to this day, being the most manufactured rifle in history. It is so loved because it gets the job done, is very economical, and keeps ticking, no matter what you throw at it. The Boker Kalashnikov knife is inspired by the iconic weapon, with a simple design, no frills, and maximum functionality. The Kalashnikov is made of high-performance, high-value materials. It has a strong lock, dependable action, and a handle that just wants to go to work. The Kalashnikov truly is a knife that makes its namesake proud!
*Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do have a warranty for the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.
She loves knives and has long nails so push button autos are the easiest.
Just received this knife and 2 more identical types that I bought for my friend and my assistant and myself. I honestly have never owned a Boker knife, but I watched your Blade HQ video about the best budget automatic knives and your recommendation of this knife being an exceptional value at the under 50.00 price point is without question "Spot ON" I am beyond thrilled at the quality of this knife out of the box. Very sharp and the action is lightning fast as advertised. Man, I didn't think it was possible to find a knife of this quality and in the automatic iteration anywhere near this price. Blade HQ I am a weapons freak and literally have not entertained this portion of my Hyper type A make-up in quite some time. I can ensure you there are many many more things to acquire and your site just won the first look to purchase rights by dishing the dope on an A1 100 G level when you recommended this Boker as a must have. Kudos gents time to get on and ride!
A great knife for the price.
This is one of the best knives I’ve gotten so far, it looks and feels great. Although it didn’t come the sharpest out of the box, it can still cut and slice just fine. The action is also very good too, it’s fast and reliable. With the textured handles and the jimping make it useful while using gloves too. The only “complaints” I have are that mine came with a small chip in the blade and with the one that have a coated blade, it takes some wearing in to get it smooth. Over all a great knife and for sure worth the price.
I am so mad I didn’t buy more of this particular knife with the impeccable artwork! I own 3 of the Boker knives and each works flawlessly! Just a perfect knife and the price is astonishing!
Very nice Showed to my father he borrowed and never returned Ordered 3 Kalashnikovs w different steels and hid them Yes I think I know steels now thanks to this companies very informative site
The knife it self was amazing, and the skull in this version is just amazing. Doesn’t wear off easily, and looks super cool.
This was my first Auto Kalashnikov, and I've since bought another one in this pattern, as well as several of the others in this series. For the money, the action is good, a little blade creep on the button, but that is an easy fix. All in all, for the money, your getting an auto, AUS8 steel, and something that could be displayed, carried daily, or passed down. Order fulfillment and shipping were fast as usual, keep up the good work BHQ.
This is my first Boker automatic knife, and WOW, super lightweight not bulgy especially as a deep pocket clip. Super fast shipping looking forward to buying many more.
Bought one as a gift and shes loved it, good enough steel great design, icing on top is the great etch work
Locks perfect every time awesome graphics goes real good with skull neck sheath I bought both and knife fits perfect in neck sheath Blade HQ shipping is very fast I love this knife!
I use this as my edc and this knife does not disappoint Will buy from blade hq again
opens super quick, which is more than i can say with some other auto's i have. this is my go to self defense knife for when i'm downtown at night and the skull just makes it look wicked cool!
I bought a couple of these knives and they work perfectly. Kick a.. knife for the price. The knife kicks open. It also takes an razor edge :)
The only thing i don't like about this is the same thing that i love about it.... The button absolutely will not misfire a deployment, but if you only press the button half way the tip of the blade will ever so slightly petrude from the body of the knife, which is not much of a problem so much as an asthetic inconvenience. Im hoping a break in period will cause even smoother deployment, but dont get me wrong, this thing is snappy and deploys fine every time. The kydex neck sheath option was what i went for and it's flawless with the breakaway lanyard having just a bit more resistance than the lock up of the kydex so you dont breakaway the lanyard on accident when de-sheathing the knife. The knife is sharp and pointy and i already minorly cut myself trying to close the blade willy nilly. Respect this tool and it should serve you well. Hope to give it to dear old dad as a gify for Hanukkah, but if he would rather have something else, im keeping it for me and the wife to play with and edc.
This is one of my edc utility blades. It's an auto you CAN hand to your friend, but you'll likely have to tell them how to close it. I use mine, nearly every time it goes in my pocket. Friends see the skull pattern on the blade and smile, like skulls are cool! And it is, an inexpensive auto, if you need to collect one, better buy 2. Because you'll want to carry it often. Keep it sharp, and you'll have it for a long time. Easy to sharpen with NO serrations. Holds the edge when I hone it. You won't be disappointed because BOKER! Oh yeah, about shipping, fulfillment and customer service: 5 stars BHQ and keep up the good work.
I bought five of these for my children and me for Christmas. We are all happy with the knife with one exception, the finish on mine, as I carry it every day, is wearing off. The blades keep their edges well and operate flawlessly otherwise.
